Heat Exchangers - Shell & Tube and Plate Type
Pre-engineered, fixed-tubesheet
in 55 designs available from stock. Up to Four Tubeside passes,
covering areas as large as 124 square feet. Corrosion-resistant
copper alloy core and rugged cast-iron bonnets.
Adapted from the BCF
model, with the addtion of S.A.E. flange connections. Assembled
from stock components with 5", 6", or 8" shell diameters.
Pre-engineered with
all fluid contact parts of stainless steel. Assembled from stocked
components. 1-, 2-, or 4-pass models, with heat transfer surfaces
from 1.2 to 165 square feet.
Shell and Tubesheets
with Cast-Iron bonnets and Copper Tubes. (Options include copper/nickel
or stainless tubes, special lengths, baffle spacing, and nozzles.
The B300 Series
is of U-Tube Design. Primarily designed for Liquid to Liquid heat
transfer. This Design allows for large temperature differentials
between the Tubeside and Shellside of the Heat Exchanger. The B300
Series is built and stamped in accordance with ASME Code-Section
VIII, Division I

Capacity Rating based
on Cooling 2.4 GPM of water per ton of refrigeration from 60 deg
F to 50 deg F using R-22 direct expansion (quality = 0.25) with
40 deg F Suction temperature. The pressure drop on the Water side
is less than 10 psig.
All FanEx heat exchangers
have heavy duty direct drive fans, copper headers with blazed joints,
and galvanized steel housings. Air/oil models feature exclusive,
patented Amaspher turbulation to mix oil for better cooling in less
space. Twelve standard sizes, with oil flows from 2 to 180 GPM.
Air/Air models are available in ten standard sizes, to cool from
20 to 760 SCFM of compressed air. Air/Water or Glycol models come
in eight standard sizes, with water flow rates from 40 to 112 GPM.
